Celebrating the "Spirit of America"

Come and have a blast in Bessemer this 4th of July. Enjoy small town charm and a true hometown 4th of July festival as Bessemer celebrates the “Spirit of America.” You will find games, mud run, hometown run with tot trot, craft fair, outdoor smear tournament, ATV mud run, relay races, karaoke, street bowling and the best parade and fire works in the upper mid-west.

This year's Bessemer Blast runs from June 27 through July 4. The excitement is in the air, and there is guaranteed to be something for every age, culminating with “Thunder on the Mountain” fireworks display on July 4th starting at 10 pm.

You will meet up with old friends and are sure to make new ones. You will have to sleep hard and fast, as you will not want to miss any of our events.

The 50/50 sellers will be all around town and our 50/50 tent will once again be set up in the BP gas station parking lot. Last year's prize was an amazing $25,987!

The giant parade will start at 7 pm on the 4th with the F16 flyover prior to the start of the parade. The last parade float will show the winning 50/50 number.

Print a copy of the schedule as you will not want to miss any of the events.

Can’t wait to see you all during our spectacular eight day celebration!
